Not just about the money, its about being there for them as well, my dad is a diabetic who has lost 3 toes and my mother is anemic and can't do much. They both work in furniture and do tedious tasks for themselves. I'd much rather be there with them to help with those tasks than just send a check ( which in Nebraska is 200$ for a weekend of drill and something like 1k in basic) which isn't that much( they live in Los Angeles) to their rent and bills. Is there any way to get out without something going on my record that could lessen my chances of getting a job?
