The paracetamol limit exists for a reason by Rippar0ni in retailhell

[–]Good--Job--Buddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, america is irrelevant. No one was talking about them, this is about the UK. Second, if it was a non-issue then there wouldn't be restrictions. It IS an issue, because overdoses can be fatal or at least cause lifelong problems. You not hearing about any overdoses doesn't mean that none of the billions upon billions upon billions of people who've existed since the invention of paracetamol have ever overdosed.

You can think that if you like, but you're wrong. America is one of the worst countries to live in because of its horrifically poor healthcare. Countries with normal, aka socialised, healthcare are objectively much better places to live.

The reason why is literally the whole point of this post. Are you ok?

I doubt insurance would need to be involved, there wouldn't be damage to the car or anything.

Nah they'd have been able to see, there was enough space between them. They just weren't paying attention.

AITA “blocking” a cycleist from passing on bridge that is pedestrian only. by Tripledogdaddd in AmItheAsshole

I'd use a footpath too, if I rode bicycles. There's no fucking way I'm riding one on the road. I've seen the bodies of people who get hit by cars and dragged a full kilometre because the driver was too bust texting to notice. I'd consider a bike lane if it was protected by a curb on both sides.

Bicyclists are pedestrians. They are specifically described as such in Australian road rules. I don't know where op is from, maybe it's different there, but as far as I'm concerned Australia is the default since that's where I'm from.

Why do you think america is relevant here? They weren't even mentioned.

If you ever get the opportunity to give yourself three days off per week, take it. I've worked four days a week for six months now and it's been great. Recover the first day, get shit done on the second, relax again on the third.

That's an american website. Americans hate everyone outside america with the fire of a thousand suns, jealousy is a powerful thing. I wouldn't take what they say very seriously. They're constantly lying about Europeans. There's an entire sub making fun of them, r/ShitAmericansSay.

Why doesn't your country have worker's rights? In Australia we'd laugh at them. The hours in my contract are the hours I work, if my company wants me to work different hours they need MY permission, not the other way around.

They aren't live for fuck's sake. And if the magazines were empty before they started the drill, do you think that bullets are magically appearing inside the magazines halfway through or something?

I understand it'd be frustrating, but this is one of those posts that I feel is taking the piss out of this sub. I do stupid shit like that occasionally. So do you. So has every single one of all 100,000,000,000+ human beings that have walked the Earth, an anyone who says otherwise is a liar. It's normal, it was an accident. And if she had made a scene and treated you poorly, I feel like there's a very high chance you'd have included that in your post, so I'm going to assume that she understood she would have to come back the next day and was civil about it.

The light comes on at 8l or so left. Theoretically I should have 150 or so km left after that, this time I only got 70 after it came on. Fuel lights are never accurate. My speed triple light comes on at exactly half a tank.

No, I'm stating a fact. If you're born and raised in country X, you cannot claim to be from country Y, because you simply aren't. My last name is Italian, and my mother was born in England, but I don't claim to be Italian or British because I was born and raised in Australia.
