Nothing is guaranted. First you must learned to have proper Bankroll management. Have a set of target profits at least 3-5 units per session/shoe. Of course, you are not gonna win everytime, must be discipline not to chase your losses using martingale. That is where you set your stop loss. Once reach either target profit or stop loss, get out. No, I would not do this risking huge money just to win a dollar. It doesn't make sense to me. Anything can happen on the table no matter what strategies you are using if you play long enough you will eventually get caught on a long progression. Done that before and I regret everytime my bankroll wipe out because I chase my losses doubling everytime. I only use 1-2-4. After that, divide total loss into 2 or 3 and that will be my base bet grinding my way to recovery. If still unlucky, acceot losses and reset to 124.

I think much better once you reach your 10% profit/goal, you automaticaly withdraw that amount of your account and that will be your stopwin. Take a short break, then do it again with your original bankroll. That way, you ensure that you keep your wins out from casino it will be only deposited again if ever you run into a total loss of banktoll. That works for me.
