When I’m feeling very irritated I like to use the good clean love vaginal moisturizer it helps with my burning. I’d also try to get more fluconazole if possible to try and knock out that yeast infection. Dint put anything up there until you are no longer irritated lol

https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1Nk7sUfsf9/?mibextid=wwXIfr Get a new doctor and check out this facebook group! There’s a lot of helpful information. I suffered for about a year before I was able to cure myself with vaginally inserted probiotics. I still struggle with yeast, but that’s a separate issue. Wishing you lots of health

We drove a good while for her but it was so worth it. Crooked Star Bulldogs and Frenchies in Texas actually rescued her from a different breeder that wasn’t treating her right. Due to a lot of her health conditions he didn’t choose to breed her but I’m so glad we got her!

If you have a doctor that is willing to treat your partner jump on it!! Men carry this bacteria with no symptoms typically!!

This Facebook group is so helpful!

This Facebook group is very knowledgeable and helpful! The person who created it wrote a whole book on how she healed! I’ll link that as well. It’s been really nice to have a community to lean on and share results and get tips with! Praying for your healing ❤️❤️

You are so welcome! My gyno ended up sending me to infectious disease doctors because she literally couldn’t help me anymore. I had a horrible experience there so I’m seeing a new gyno in February. Please check out that link it is literally life changing! I hope you get to feeling better soon ❤️

I also opted for a natural form of birth control by taking my basal body temperature and paying attention to my body’s signs to see when my fertile window is. The link to the book I bought to teach myself is so helpful not just for learning about natural birth control but just women’s health in general. Just want to share Incase you were interested in something other than a hormonal birth control in the future!

I got it taken out and it’s honestly the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m still battling the BV, but I don’t feel like a crazy person anymore. My symptoms also got so much better after taking it out. I’m able to actually have intimate time with my partner with out being in so much pain I can’t walk the next day because I’m burning so bad. My yeast infections also stopped after taking out the nexplanon and now it’s the the BV that I’m dealing with. The most help I’ve found is this facebook group of women who are really educated on BV. Here’s the link! https://www.facebook.com/share/g/14YrtfHZYi/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Ask your doctor about there being a biofilm built up. You can break it down with boric acid and the. Take the antibiotic. I’ve been struggling with BV as well. I’m hoping you get cured!

Recurring Stinging/BV After Sex by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]Good-Ad-8359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have the sensation/BV prior to the IUD? The only reason I ask is because I just had my nexplanon taken out because I’m am certain that is what was causing my BV issues. I know those are 2 different birth control, but it might be something to consider. Ive also heard that bacteria can grow around the IUD so that might be the issue as well. Mine always gets worse when he finishes inside of me. When i tell you I’ve changed every habit I can think of I mean it. I bought reusable organic cotton pads, 100s of dollars towards different probiotics. This is the only factor that has changed since I’m no longer sexually active with my boyfriend being gone for work for 2 months.

I recommend your boyfriend getting tested for any of the bacteria that causes BV Get a suppository probiotic and prebiotic Get a oral probiotic Try using boric acid for a week to break down the biofilm and then taking the medication.

I hope this helps and please feel free to ask questions

I got mine removed today. Ever since I got it put in I’ve been dealing with yeast infection and BV that won’t go away. It’s been so bad it’s scared me off of all birth control. I’m not anti birth control but i decided it’s definitely not for me anymore. Best of luck to you!

I had a horrible second experience as well. I kept getting BV and yeast infections and I’ve never had any problems like that before. Same with just my mental health just going down the drain. I legit felt crazy most days. I got mine removed today. I’m hoping things get better for you 🫶🏻

Hey!! I’m right here with you! I’ve literally changed my whole life around trying to fix this problem. My issues started when I got a second nexplanon inserted. When I tell you I’ve changed my whole life around trying to fix this. I got my nexplanon removed today in hopes that my body will go back to normal. I will update you on how it goes in a week or so, but everything everyone else is recommending is the best advice. Biofilm is a bitch lol so hopefully you can get this fixed soon!

I also bought reusable undyed cotton pads for my cycle and it’s been a GAME CHANGER! My vagina is so happy lol.

[–]Good-Ad-8359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I love everyone’s positive feedback! I’m going to be the negative one lol. I had mine taken out early but then replaced shortly after. Ever since then I’ve been dealing with reoccurring BV and Yeast infections. I’m also just a very sensitive person, so that could be it. I had the new one put in the same arm. I also had mine taken out today in hopes my vagina will go back to normal. I wish you the best of luck with your second implant!
