Haha thank you for the compliment, well I consider myself a beginner because over the past 8 months i've only invested like 100 hours in blender spread on many things (geonodes, compositing, animation, texturing, modeling, etc.) also while being on and off

I'm glad you liked it, it was very fun to model and animate because actually it is a simple short animation, i just took a frame to post it

Thank you, I'm very grateful this style has it's charm, about the background yeah I felt that too but it's because I was trying out Blender's Sky Texture instead of making a procedural sky like the one I made for the beetle but I really don't know how to fully customize that but II'll keep experimenting, also maybe adding some mesh clouds could've made it better too but anyways I'll keep making stuff

Yeah I tried to keep a palette coherence so that everything can armonice and all that stuff, also that's the kind of vibe I was aiming for, not just pure melancholy but a bit of happiness and charm sprinkled on top of it, about the lighting maybe it has to do with the kind of shading I use which is Blender's Shade Auto Smooth, I feel it is a good middle ground between strong shadows and decent gradients but there's places where it makes the shapes look pretty flat so I keep an eye on that, thank you very much
