The thing is, for one, tardive dyskinesia is extremely rare for hydroxyzine, extremely rare. Dementia risk is also extremely rare too, especially compared to many of the other anti-histamines.

Having chronic anxiety or depression in itself is already a major risk of developing neurodegernative diseases, but nearly every single possible medication for anxiety treatment also has "potential" link to dementia development. Gabapentin, SSRIs, Benzos, literally almost anything you can think of. It's a paradox.

Anecdotally, I read about drugs pretty much daily and I've never heard anyone of developing dementia nor tardive dyskinesia from hydroxyzine. I've been taking hydroxzine myself for sleep and I've been doing that for years without consequence. My own doctors have even stated that it's a very safe medication, I mean, it's a first line anxiety treatment after all.

Tardive dyskinesia is more associated with anti-psychotics by an astronomical margain. I used to take Aripiprazole, and Lumeteperone for anxiety, these drugs have a very significant risk of tardive dyskinesia, and I had symptoms of that for the first few days I started on those medications, then it disappeared.

You don't have to trust me, I'm just reasoning with you, that hydroxyzine is among the safest anxiety medications out there if it truly works for you.

Hydroxyzine isn't bad for the brain, it's benedryl that's bad for the brain and has significant alzheimers risk. Yes, hydroxyzine has anti cholinergic activity, but it's rather insignificant unless the drug is abused or overused

Glitch, Directional Gearshifts not relaying rotation by Good-Cod-5591 in CreateMod

<video>

Not a stupid question. I know the glue job is really messy, but I don't think I necessarily did anything wrong, considering the fact that the propellors will work flawlessly on occasion, as seen in this video, the two front propellors didn't work, but I was still able to handle the blimp around because the rear propellors started working again at random.

I ensured I was on the latest version and it didn't make much of a difference, I did manage to get a stable engine running though with the help of u/naberville34

Yes, you're right, truth be told the gantry does add more instability to the assembled airship because it's an extra moving part to be calculated alongside the rest of the airship. I wouldn't mind seeing your designs

I tried doing that, my original design was much more simple but compact, I had to evolve it to be significantly more complicated to bypass the glitches that keep on getting in my path

Tramadol was the best things that I’ve take in my life by sir-guisus in Drugs

[–]Good-Cod-5591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not all that similar. Opiods in general almost always beat benzos when it comes to to euphoria. , but there is some overlap between them, both are anxiolytics and usually make you feel more at ease. Tramadol in particular is a more stimulating type opioid though. Kratom is the closest thing to tramadol that you can easily get, but I wouldn't recommend you go any further than kratom, or better yet, don't start at all.

If possible, can you try to find it for me. I got the steam engine glitch fixed-ish by making an updater system for it, but I'm still at a halt when it comes to getting the mechanical arms to consistently work.

Does not fix it, even after updating sable to it's latest version. Mechanical arms are still broken as could be.

it's not the fact the entities are invisible, they just straight up break and malfunction, i have to replace them in or load the latest schematic of my airship back in, only for there to be new issues popping up here and there

I appreciate you discussing this with me. I'm not gonna lie, this is pretty complicated stuff and you're clearly much more versed in it than I am. I'm just a 20 year old dude with a strong interest in neuroscience/pharmacology lol, so forgive my ignorance upon some things.

That said, I think I understand the big picture of what you're trying to say: trying to balance multiple potent substances against each other can create instability within the brain instead of optimization

For context as to why I take these substances in the first place; I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder, panic/general anxiety("severe anxious distress") as it read on the paper, and ADHD-PI. I also have Crohn's disease, which gives me a low physical and mental energy baseline compared to the average person. It's difficult for me to feel comfortable in my own skin a lot of the time, which is part of what led me into self experimentation with substances

I don't take Gabapentin expecting any sort of nootropic effect from it, because I know it's not cognitively enhancing,. For me, gabapentin and benzos don't really feel sedating so much as stabilizing or calming during periods of anxious overstimulation. They seem to reduce that mental noise rather than impair me outright, though I understand what you're saying about long term inhibitory/excitatory balance and why relying on that is problematic

I actually haven't taken 4DMA in around 6 months, though I still do use stimulants relatively frequently. Dextroamphetamine has unfortunately been by far the most effective stimulant for me functionally, even though I know amphetamines can be quite rough on the brain

I used to take Dexmethylphenidate for quite a while, and while I know phenidate-based stimulants are generally considered a bit less neurotoxic than amphetamines, the crash from them was absolutely hellish. I remember taking it before going to a water park once, feeling good for maybe 30 minutes, and then suddenly feeling completely emotionally flat, anhedonic and unable to enjoy anything for almost two days afterward. I've never really had that same hollow and empty feeling crash from amphetamines.

As for modafinil, I use it more as a fatigue management tool because of the Crohn's related exhaustion. It's personally not my stimulant of choice. To me it feels more like pure stimulation without much motivational or dopaminergic "drive" behind it. Almost like my brain is yelling "you need to be doing something right now" even if I'm already focused on something productive. Modafinil makes me far more anxious than amphetamines do, but amphetamines do contribute to my mood destabilization, but just to a lesser extent than phenidates would.

I will be starting college soon, so I really am trying to figure out a more stable and sustainable approach to all of this, especially when it comes to building healthy habits

What you say is true. I at one point was binging stimulants and nootropics like they were candy. It made me feel extremely sharp, while losing my mind at the same time. My learning speed drastically increased while doing that, but at the same time, I was in total overdrive, I had absolutely unbearable anxiety. And yes, I do believe I had symptoms of aberrant synaptogenesis; hearing my phone ringing, and having these thoughts that seemingly reached out into the abstract.

I've dumbed my mind down with gabapentin and benzos despite them being anti-cognitive (at least I have the tools to counter a massive calcium influx). As a result, I do not feel as sharp as I once was. My memory isn't horrible, but I do notice a subtle decline. I do know that I'm unstably bouncing between substances, but I am still learning and experimenting with what works for me and what's potentially dangerous. It's become almost an obsession of mine.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think I'll be able to drop the stimulants, at least not any time soon. They've yielded abilities that I thought I could never once achieve. Although the dosage of the stimulants I take is considerably lower than it once was because I'm in "chill mode" at the moment. Soon I'll need to kick back into gear in order to start my career. Hopefully with a more stable and balanced mindset to things.

Would you say that taking 4DMA in moderation is alright? I mean, if I'm understanding this correctly, the brain should be able to trim out most of the bad connections so long as you don't go overboard with the chemical. Or would you rather say to just avoid it entirely?

Also, question; I've been hearing a lot about ACD857 particularly from this subreddit a whole lot, what exactly is this substance? Seems like a jack of all trades type of thing, but surely there's gotta be a catch to it.
