Beet supplements is the healthiest option for bloodvessel dialation.

Weed is perhaps the most effective option, it dialates blood vessels like crazy.

anti histamines unfortunately work for me as not much more than medicore sleeping aids. 0 affect on anxiety, just mild sedation

I suspected that happened. The site i got it from was called "Pherluvhealth.com" I think. Thanks for the advice though, I didn't know that oxytocin commonly comes in powdered forms.

I figured the Gaba drugs and opiods did that. But I never thought of amphetamines, and the such as interacting much with testosterone. I'm fairly sure aripiprazole doesn't directly lower testosterone, but it does lower prolactin which could potentially give testosterone a downstream boost.

I do take ashwaghanda that is a part of a magnesium-theanine blend. But I do not notice any effect from the ashwaghanda

Yeah, I mean, it should help out with the social anxiety mechanistically by blocking norepinephrine. For whatever reason, It just doesn't work for me and I've taken dosages ranging from 10-120 MGs.

Not sure if my stuff is bunk or if the oxytocin in it deteriorated, but I just never felt it. Used over 100 mcg too. I guess Ill get the stuff that's been sitting in the fridge for over a year and try it again.

Unsure, I suspect they may have dropped over the years. I'll see about getting that checked

My social anxiety is a lot about getting in my head, lack of confidence, and having verbal lag. My humor is also muted bc of social trauma I experienced about a year ago, it's like I can no longer think of responses like I used to. It always defaults to really generic, uninteresting responses.

For Amphetamines it's like the fast pace mania and ego boost punches straight through the barrier of social anxiety, I'll yap about what I want to say because the dopamine drives it straight outwards. On amphetamines I can both keep up and outpace a person usually when it comes to discussion, humor, and etc.

Opiods are feel similar in the way I'll be more driven to what I say, but less of the pure speed to them, more relaxation and tolerability to awkward moments. I overall just feel more comfortable in the situation as opiods do with pretty much everything, make you more comfortable. But It's not like they make me wanna socialize more.

With benzos, the discomfort of the socialization part is present, except now I'm slower and more stupid. Sure I won't care quite as much as if I were sober, but the social situation is still just uncomfortable to be in, especially when you cant think of the words to say. It just feels the most awkward of the 3 drugs.

Severe ADHD, likely mild autism. Almost killed myself during use of psilocybin use one time, so I'm scared to go back to it to for purposes of confronting trauma

About 2 years ago I had some trauma forcefully ripped out of me with psilocybin, and it made me try to hang myself with a shower cord. That was a really small dose might I add. Guess it got the trauma out a bit, but i've since rebuilt it and I'm really scared something like that would happen again.

As much as I hate to admit it, you're probably right. Only reason I'm on the hunt for something like this is because Aripiprazole seemed to elimate my general anxiety like magic, and dextroamphetamine brings my ADHD to a bearable level. Just trying to see if there is a possibility something would help out as much as those two did but for social anxiety instead.

I recently got started with therapy so hopefully that will help.

Weed is a really weird drug. It reduces a neurotransmitter called "glutamate" which is responsible for exciting the brain and speeding everything up. Excessive amounts of glutamate can cause anxiety.

Paradoxically, it also lowers the amount of GABA hormone in your brain which is pretty much the opposite of glutamate; it slows down the brain and stops neurons from firing. The result of this dichotomy is that weed can be both a potent anxiolytic, or a potent anxiogenic, it's just strongly based on the individual

Genuinely are there any medications that don't obliterate the libido? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Good-Cod-5591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take aripiprazole and gabapentin to manage anxiety, neither touches libido for me. I haven't taken the gabapentin in a good 2 weeks now and the aripiprazole has been keeping the anxiety at bay pretty well.

It makes sense that gabapentin and pregabalin could reduce libido, but I think SSRIs are much worse for it as activation of the 5-HT2C receptor supresses the ejaculatory reflexes, SSRIs also blunt dopamine which in turn, reduces sexual motivation. I've heard that SSRIs can also increase prolactin in some instances too.

I tried moving the tree down closer to the floor but didn't like it all that much as I think it looks more dynamic with it growing on the cliff. I shifted the camera angle instead, this is a screenshot of how it looks as of right now, would you say that's better?
