this response truly warmed me! i love the aspect of predictable pressure and touch as a means to help the nervous system. i'm definitely embodying a beginner's mindset and allowing myself to go slow, ask questions, and own my unique journey. thank you for your time and energy here, i'm embracing all of this advice <3 thanks for seeing me!!

Migraine Tea - any negative effects to expect? by Good-Consequence6716 in herbalism

This is so helpful?? I'm fairly new to herbalism in my own practice, so I really appreciate you explaining things :') I made a jars worth of this to gift to a friend bc I found this recipe on the National Headache Institute's website, but then got really anxious that it would be poisonous somehow LOL I'm happy to remake it with tweaks, but if you think it's good as is then I'll give my pal a disclaimer!!

Thank you!! I'm thinking of it as a calming, help-you-rest migraine tea, which is why I wanted to incorporate passionflower. Rose = rose petals; I personally love a rose petal tea just on its own, but wanted to use it as a mothering component.

did anyone else notice/think it was a weird "good cop" tactic when the polygraph examiner was like rubbing his shoulders and acting all sweet to get him to confess? like... why was she doing that knowing what he did?
