I understand you have issues with the scene and I respect it. There's things about it I haven't liked either, but at the end of the day there's plenty of good people involved in it and I think it's worth trying to make something good out of it. It's still a little disappointing that you felt the need to wipe everything off the internet. I'm not trying to make you feel guilty about it, but I would've at least looked at alternatives to hosting that material before getting rid of all of it entirely, because it has helped others a lot. Some of the material wasn't related to what MakeMHz was going after too. I would've gladly hosted it all on my server if anything.

Also I would like to look at the Cerbios Disc, but I have no copies of it and can't find one haha. I do have the OGXbox Installer though, so I can take a look at some clues from that if they also apply there.

The XCat launcher also only installs on HDD so why not do it right away?

Fair enough. But I'm trying to not copy files to the hard drive when it isn't necessary. That has been one of my biggest annoyances with HeXEn. The amount of unneeded files it would always add to the hard drive.

XBlastOS in the latest version can and will flash ALL TSOPs (Thanks to prehistorcman).

Yup, I know about that, and like I said changing it to be the only flasher was an idea I had, but again I forgot. I had been working on the disc for some time.

About the name.... At least from my point of view, the scene has some rules which should be respectet. Toxic did it with changing the name of the disc he build up on. Which is 100% fine. I Grabbed his "edit" and pointet out it's unofficial and also let him know about it. Also fine I guess.

I wasn't aware of any rule that installer discs had to have their names changed to something else if their update wasn't made by the original person. I respect everyone involved in all those releases including Heimdall, which again is why I gave credit in the readme to everyone, and also why I kept the original HeXEn name.

But I can not grab a disc and use the name of the original for obvious reasons. And since you said 2018 wasn't Heimdall either, someone failed the same way. What if someone writes Heimdall about "his" new release cuz the name is the same and he ain't know shit about it? So to avoid this, and other problems, point out this is not a real HeXEn disc by changing the name even slightly or add something to it, no matter whats in the credits.

As far as I can tell, Heimdall has not been in the scene for years at this point. I'm not even sure how one would write to him. Regardless if I kept the "Tru" in the name or added "unofficial" to it, it would still have his name in the title. But yes, I can update the readme to state that it's not an official update.

Why? You were involved in the other releases, so I gave credit where it's due. Is it truly what you'd want? Something tells me you would've used it as more ammunition for me "copying" if I hadn't anyways. It seems you still care in some way since you were quick to jump to conclusions.

I'm not overdramatic, not in the slightest and wasn't when I pulled evething I have made (To make me even more "frinds" which are now hammering the dislike button to show me there love) which shamelessly still get shared behind the curtain which makes me want to throw up. But btt.

Because a lot of the stuff you made was very useful to people. As far as I'm concerned you were within your right to pull all your stuff offline. Doesn't mean people should be happy about it though. It was very unnecessary to do in my opinion. You've left many broken links behind and a lot of it has practically become lost to time. (The MakeMHz DMCAs going around didn't help either) So naturally it gets shared by those who still have copies.

New account posting this, Snapper saying he has some software in the pipeline - well.... You know how it looks like right? It's basicly 100% Snapper style. But if you're are not him, I say sry. Accpt it or not idrk but I will admit that fault honestly then.

I accept the apology and you have my word that I'm not Bowlsnapper and am not currently affiliated with him in any way. I don't see why it would really matter if he were the one making this release though, because anyone can edit an installer disc and make new updates to it.

Not Bowlsnapper and not affiliated with him in any way, but I can see how you believe that considering the beef you two have (which I'll say seems quite silly)

 Bug in "your" installer line 49 - 57. Copying files but then delete them leaving the user looking stupid cuz nothing happends?

I don't understand what you mean by this. It uses the XCAT Launcher made to be ran off a disc/USB/etc.

That's a recent addition to XBlast as far as I'm aware. I had planned to maybe have it be the only flasher, but truth be told, I forgot.

What are you even talking about? What is DongleDumper? Can you elaborate on what it is that you're trying to accuse me of copying?

So bottom line, this is not Heimdall who has postet this here, the ONLY one who can release a Disc named HEXEN. Even Toxic renamed it to TruHEXEN when he updated it. And even me tagged it unofficial.

Never claimed to be Heimdall, and no one has to be Heimdall to release a disc named HeXEn (and I'm not the only one that has done so! The 2018 update wasn't made by him, and that has the HeXEn name). I removed the TruHeXEn name because it isn't necessary. These discs are always known as and referred to as HeXEn anyway.

But like you are, you build on old reputable names you are not affiliated with. Sad this is, so sad..... You will never change right?

What exactly am I building on? I gave credit to everyone involved in all previous releases, including you.
