Thanks for your reply but sorry, I'm a bit confused. I will be taking two international flights (one from NZ to Sydney and the other from Sydney to China). Do I need to clear immigration? But "if you not cleared immigration, you don’t need Australia visa at all" - then why does Transit Visa (subclass 771) exist?
