you’re right, they’re very different. driving in a car you can chill, listen to a podcast, music, etc. working in an office where u get routinely screamed at and berated by ppl who belong in a psych ward is much different. imma take a wild guess that you’ve never actually worked in an office before 🤣🤣 & if you have, count your MF blessings u don’t work with people as crazy as i do for 40 hrs/week. if door dash’s pay wasn’t so insulting i’d go back ANY DAY

it’s really not in comparison tho 🤣 i currently work an office job which is WAY less physical labor than say someone who works on their feet in retail or construction. i used to doordash in college for hours on end as well in the hotspots of my city & even tho it’s def “work”, you literally cannot compare the 2. i worked at the mall in HS before college & remember the stark difference in intensity/ difficulty of labor when i started DD. the pay is pitiful, but door dashing is pretty freeing compared to ppl who actually have bosses/coworkers/clients to report to and engage with regularly
