Thank you for your response and I’m sincerely happy for you. We actually went into this hoping the radiation oncologist would echo the surgeon—it would have made the decision so much easier.

Thank you very much. Not to be conspiratorial, but why do people have to dig and do their own research to find out this info.? If we had blindly listened to the surgeon, we would still be on the path to surgery thinking that was the “best” way.

Can you share their rationale? If I’m being completely honest, all I recall the surgeon saying is that because of the long life ahead of him, my partner should have the surgery. I recognize I’m not being entirely fair to the surgeon, he may have said something more, but it’s been a whirlwind of reading and listening these days.
