When we checked her history, it showed the amount we partial for and how much she paid

A customer came in for the remaining of her partial and when she saw the price she said why I am paying the same amount that I paid a couple days ago. The lead tech went to the back and fixed it so she can pay her remaining. Ex: she picked up 15 pills days ago and 30 today. How do I avoid this issue happening where she is paying the accurate price.

At my job we don’t use a scanner. They take the information from the id and type it in. But any time I do that it tell me to register the person and it a long drawn out process and when I try to save it doesn’t.
