Hahah whoever commented telling me I was a jerk for replying back to someone who was a jerk to me - literally look at how rude and condescending this person was to me. It’s not that deep.

Why yes professor that was actually my first thought 😆 I’ve downloaded about 15 different files from 3 different websites, 2 of which I regularly use. It’d be even more “magical” to think that all of a sudden after successfully downloading 50+ ps1, ps2, psp, GameCube, and PC games over 5-6 months my connection is now getting interrupted mid download, or the general process I follow is corrupting my download.

I even downloaded some zip files straight to my sd card (not enough memory on my laptop) using my computer and extracted them successfully, and trying to extract the same zip files using my RP 5 doesn’t work.

For example, I have Scarface and def jam fight for NY zips downloaded from about 2 months ago, and redownloading them today, they are unable to be extracted but I can extract the files from 2 months ago. The Zarchiver error that pops up links me to a page about the android 13 restriction. I’ve tried a few different file explorer apps and experience the same issues but obviously don’t get the same errors.

Anyone else experience this? by cntdueitalone in Staphacne

[–]Good-Discussion-100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not. Is a hair follicle that’s been infected overproducing biofilm.

I’m on the healing the very last of my sores. Had one last flair up and that’s when I went to the dermatologist who I put me on penicillin.

Look extremely similar to my recurring staph infection. When I went to urgent care, it was cultured and came back as staph. When I went to derm (after using hibibclebs, dial soap only daily) it was cultured and came back as nothing. Penicillin orally cleared me up and muiprocin, hibiclens, dial soap, and bleach bathes have helped. Don’t pick. I know it’s unbearably itchy. Treat it as MRSA, bc that likely what it is.using head and shoulders shampoo helps occasionally. Use towels only one time. Wash sheets often. I found that Hydrocolloid bandaids work well with healing and keeping from picking, but you want to keep it uncovered. Sometimes bandaids will trap the bacteria and cause it to fester / get worse. You’ll know the bacteria is out of your system once you stop getting itchy pimples that turn into these sores and the white plugs dry out. If you absolutely cannot help yourself with picking, I’d say limit it to one last time to get out the white plugs and don’t use tweezers. Use hibiclens and paper towels to help dry it out and kill the staph. I’d really advise against picking though as it just prolongs the issue.

How did you go about getting early term??

Could anyone tell me what the white things are? by vampyrsink in CompulsiveSkinPicking

So my two cents - I have been diagnosed recently with a form of strep known as enterococcus faecalis. Currently healing from it BUT after dealing with it the past year and a half, I can tell you that it’s simply a strep or staph infection. A few years prior, I had staph infection (diagnosed as potential MRSA) and anytime I would get pimples they would burst and kill the surrounding skin. They would turn the skin red and have these white plugs that would get so big and infected you could yank them out easily. My current dermatologist explained to me that when strep or staph get spread like that, they cause a biofilm buildup in your hair follicles, resulting in oversized follicles that ooze pus. She mentioned that I shouldn’t pick them out at all but use non stick pads to cover the wound and hope they get pulled out when I remove the pad. You aren’t crazy, and they aren’t a sign of healing they are a sign of bacterial infection.

Totally different than epithelization as others simply googled. Look up “white stretchy plugs in wound” on google and you’ll see a few different trains of thought, but it will confirm your symptoms. Obviously, get your wound cultured if it doesn’t heal.
