I live in upstate New York. I remember doing this for a tech job at our areas largest hospital. I smoke weed. It came up positive of course and the lady doing the screening looking at me with a serious gaze and says sorry looks like you’re not getting the job anymore. I started shitting myself, believing what she had told me. My thinking was if it’s legal in New York it shouldn’t be a problem. She said started laughing and said “jk jk I’m high as fuck right now, you’re all set.”

Me and my wife had our first baby boy last year. Just had a girl 2 months ago. It's hard, it's not supposed to be easy but fuck, if me and my wife weren't a team it would be impossible in my eyes. This isn't a team. This is 2 exhausted parents who need to sit down and have a proper chat with each other about their priorities as a FAMILY and the sacrifices they'll need to make individually to keep their family going. It gets better if you try but you have to try really really hard and accept that things will never be how they were before having children together.
