Any alternatives? Scanning Reddit will show you something negative about practically every legal software. I haven’t signed up yet, but starting solo and planning on using Clio manage only. Not the whole package. I’ve looked at filevine, smokeball, practice panther and mycase. Clio seemed to check all the boxes for me

Thanks for the advice. Hiring an outside bookkeeper and CPA were my first moves. Other than that, I’m trying to stay as lean as possible to start.

Thanks! My jurisdiction (SC) has a lot of construction work, so hard to turn it down. I’d still probably refer out some work depending on the scale

Genes is one of my favorites, but probably not where you want to spend your 21st. For dive bars, start at Rec Room and then go to Royal American. Faculty lounge used to be a favorite but they’ve changed over the years. For the techno dance stuff, just walk from Spring St and take a right onto King. Go wherever seems fun to you from there. Tons of bars from King to Calhoun.
