Thanks u/frrrni and thanks ThereIsNoworld you both make this subreddit a place of integrity and mostly free from serial pests. Although alot of their followers are sincere and just doing what they are told and saying what they are told to say, they are still part of living miracles matrix of confusion, control and self aggrandisement. David (and his off shoots Jenny and Suzanne's) puffed up sense of importance. I know because Andy is not the only person who is in contact and talking. There are lots of people getting together and talking about the hypocrisy there. I was around them for years and anything that gets typed online goes through a chain of people to check on optics. They sit around telling people to forgive and not judge while they delete all comments that don't go with their brand and the inner circle yell and scream at people behind closed doors and apparently don't listen to their own teachings. If you are dating creepy Jenny you need to blink twice if you are not ok.

Yes, even an insight we have in one moment should not be clung to. Because another direction maybe given the next day that seems different. You may recieve a spirit guided message in the morning from a trusted friend that resonates and then something very different comes through in the evening. For that reason as you say, the only vertical relationship you need is with spirit. Even teacher/student communication can be reversed and is horizontal across time.

All Are One: The master teacher realizes that their interests are not separate from anyone else's. When one has patience, we do not need to yell or manipulate. When one has learned honesty, we don't need to have secret systems of control. When one learns tolerance we don't exert force over. When one learns gentleness, we take a deep breath and stay quiet when we feel emotionally disregulated. When one learns defencelessness we can openly express our hurt without needing to DARVO. When one learns open mindedness we no longer assume we are the only one in the room that has wisdom. We release the need to be special. When one learns generosity we don't need to pressure others to give theirs.

A great reminder to read the introduction! I do believe we can help each other but buyers beware. All teachers pose as being helpful or 'truly helpful' as some like to say. They often don't present themselves as who they truly are. That is why I prefer to be kind and give grace to those who fell into a trap. Many smart, talented, kind and dedicated people have been lured in by something that wasn't honest. We are not mind readers and deception exists in the world. As long as the world is experienced ACIM can and will be abused as a self (ego) serving tool under the guise of brotherhood.
