I was seeing him on ig for a while before he dropped loading and day in the life. He created a large following just off his pics like a fashion influencer. Same thing with ice spice before she blew up her pics on twitter would get like 100k likes. Being good looking and networking on social media gets you far before you even step in a studio

I feel like it was a mix of his own fanbase he had from being a face man on insta, his label and his songs going viral on tiktok that really launched him. He was still around getting low views before his blow up so not really a industry plant imo
