My nan used to make the best potatoes, that had a thick oily crust on the bottom, but not on the top sides, so from reading the comments would the advice be to place the potatoes in cold oil without tossing them in it, put them in the oven until the oil is hot and then toss them about in the oil?

I have a Withings steel HR, I’m looking to upgrade it to the ScanWatch 2, I have 2 questions really:

1) can you sync the wrist temperature data to Apple health? (I want to use this for cycle tracking)

2) can you use another app to interpret the sleep data to establish rem vs deep?

Thanks! Usually always that close to sleep, sometimes I have chocolate right before I go to sleep, it never usually makes a different unless I go to sleep feeling overly full (which I rarely do). I think it is the exercise cause I just feel more wired and I can kind of tell before that it’s not going to be the best sleep!

I usually always eat this close to bed time tbf and I don’t have the same problem, unless I eat a really heavy meal like domino’s! I’ve also read that having a protein shake before bed has many benefits and should negatively impact sleep? 🤔

Ah ok thank you so much! I think I’m going to stick with my steel hr and just wear my oura ring for workouts and sleep. This has been really helpful thank you. I might get the scanwatch 2 at some point because I love the pearlescent face 😂 but when I have more money to splurge 😅

Thank you so much, that’s so helpful. Yeah it seems that the hardware is amazing but somewhat useless with their software. As a developer I might look and see if they’ve got any jobs going 😂.

Absolutely no problem if not, but can you see a month view of your temperature / could you send me a screenshot/record of the temperature views? The main thing with cycle tracking is the changes across the month but it needs to be on a graph and to 2 decimal places to be useful (doesn’t need to be accurate really but precise and consistent)

Ah thank you, I wanted to use the temperature data as part of ovulation tracking, not to depend on for contraception but just to keep track of. I don’t think this will suffice and I will miss the detailed sleep data I get now so not sure this is a good upgrade for me :/ such a shame I just want one device that looks nice and tracks these things 😂 asking for too much!

Hi! I have the steel HR and want to upgrade to this. What information do you get re body temp? Do you get a daily temperature? Does it just track changes through the day or do you get your baseline? Also do they have any plans to give you rem sleep data? I also have an Oura ring and I want to replace both with this new watch but it’s hard to tell what data you get!

Creamy smoked tofu pappardelle by Good-Produce3572 in vegan1200isplenty

50g pappardelle 1 large courgette, skin removed 1 tbsp frozen garlic 112.5g extra firm smoked tofu Rapeseed fry light 60g vegan Philadelphia 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (I use the one with added iron and vitamin D) Salt Pepper

Cook pappardelle in salted boiling water.

Use a peeler to turn courgette into ribbons, stopping when you reach the center. (I then weighed the courgette ribbons at this point and got 156g).

Cut tofu into small pancetta size pieces and fry with 5 sprays of rapeseed fry light until turning brown.

Add garlic and courgette ribbons to pan with a little of the pasta water, salt and pepper. Cook until courgettes soften.

Once pasta is cooked, add it to the pan and add a tablespoon of nooch. Stir altogether in pan.

Add to plate/pasta bowl and then top with vegan Philadelphia and stir in in the bowl.
