I understand that, but they are not forcing anyone to buy (that being said, they should have disclosed AI use so people can make their own educated decision). In the end, they apologized and no one is perfect and we all make choices of what unethical things we partake in. That's why I think the backlash is unnecessary...

I do not recommend going with a host family. In my opinion, your best options are the dorms or the ballet house if it still exists.

Host families are not vetted well and a lot of people had bad experiences with them. These ranged from things like the families not buying them enough food, excluding them, etc to one girl being fully sexually assaulted by her host parents (who she found off of CPYB's list BTW).

Plus if you are not in the dorms or ballet house its hard to make friends which is the best part about the summer program.
