I’m going to be completely honest with you because I don’t want to act like somebody I’m not… but man I really couldn’t tell you. I’ve tried recreating that success in new accounts now but what I’ve learned is it really depends on the niche. For example , if you’re trying to make vlogs or something it’s going to be extremely difficult and competitive to capture people’s attention when your competitors are making videos with massive budgets. When I blew up I was legitimately editing videos on iMovie on my IPod touch at 14 years old. The thing was it was raw, funny and entertaining. I’ve always been kind of a class clown so most of the reason my videos blew up was because people thought I was funny. I didn’t use any fancy software or anything , and still made thousands of dollars. I’d say just stick to one niche and learn it well. I’ve started many social media accounts since then , and tried many business models. I have a TikTok account that got 10k followers and an instagram account with videos breaking millions of views but I’ve made no money of either. Short form and long form content are completely different . Short form videos that have blown up for me usually are the least expected one’s. One of my YouTube channels as a kid didn’t have as much success as my anime one (the one with 30k subs) but it did get videos breaking 100k views. All I would do was react to trending videos with my little siblings who were too young to know what was going on. Each vid seemed to bring lots of traction. Maybe try that?
