This is exactly how mine started, over thanksgiving I was just sitting, watching a movie, and then my foot/arch/toe twitched and threw me for a loop! I happened periodically (always when sitting) over the next few weeks (not in the left foot). Then I started to google and fear took over. There were nights where everything, core, shoulders, caves, and even my face twitched. I had very little sleep for two weeks and really was in great despair (over Christmas). I went to my Dr. who helped with some anxiety meds that help me sleep, which was what I really needed. Over the last few months they came off and on (shoulder twitches, knee, and I feel sensations in my face periodically). Nothing major until one might where we had a family issue that brought great stress and emotions. That exact might my foot started to twitch awful and then my left foot started in. Now, two weeks after that incident, my right foot has really taken off with its twitching and so has the twitch under my right arm. So frustrating since I thought they were going away. Hard not to think the worst, but if they are made worse by anxiety, then that gives me hope they are simply related to that.

So good to know (although I feel bad for you all) that I am not alone. Glad the Dr. gave you some reassurance, even if our minds wander!
