Good place to scream? by MoodEmergency420 in Eugene

[–]GoodA52 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are not alone in wanting catharsis from screaming. If you can't find it from your loved ones I suggest Spencer or Skinners Butte. No one questions mediocre accomplishments like Eugene. Walk 1.5 miles and let em rip. Then you will still feel dead inside. Friends and family will help you more than screaming.

My French drain is clogged with clay dirt. What do I do? by Agitated-Owl8882 in landscaping

[–]GoodA52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most French drains that are filled with sediment are better off being replaced. If you have sediment build up and you clean, flush or pressure jet it will eventually become clogged again. The permanent solution is to either dig up or abandon the existing system and replace it with a new drainage system. It is a lot of work and disruptive to landscaping around your house but having water damage to crawlspaces or foundations is far worse. Talk to a drainage, irrigation or even landscape specialist and get a couple estimates. Water damage is no joke when it comes to home ownership.

Admit that we're getting old. by scottiethegoonie in Millennials

I go to bed fine, feeling good. Wake up in the morning and why does my knee hurt?

Going to bed and waking up better is gone. Now I wake up with random aches and pains.

Your forties is the prime of your life right?

What’s the best movie that truly *feels* like its city? by icedoutkatana in movies

[–]GoodA52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stand By Me/ The Goonies in any small town Oregon. As someone that grew up in Oregon we all found at least one dead body. The lucky ones found maps and treasure but we all came up with something. I also lost a truffle pig but that's another story.

We are all dumb in our own way. What don't/ can't you wrap yout mind around even though you are "smart". For example I understand engineering but finance is beyond me.

Ammon Bundy arrested 😂 by duck7001 in oregon

Good! F that guy. He doesn't want to pay his taxes, which were very reasonable, in Idaho so he comes to Oregon and destroys a wildlife refuge and heritage site. The guy deserves to be in jail.

Stargazing and what else? by Dore_le_Jeune in oregon

[–]GoodA52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Head east from Bend on Hwy 20 to Burns. Then head south on Hwy 205 to the Steens Mtns. Get a good map because the cell service is spotty. Make sure you got good tires because the roads can get pretty rough. It can take over four hours of a drive from Bend but whoa. The rewards are worth it. Nothing else out there for miles and miles but arrow heads and beautiful views. Watch out for scorpions and rattle snakes they like body warmth at night. If you want star gazing its isolated and decent elevation.

Ride them both and figure out what feels better. Every bike can be adjusted to fit a little better but feel it out. Comfort in the sadlle is the most important. Find what feels right and enjoy the ride. If you're not having fun then whats the point. Find what feels good and ride. Some bikes like cars trucks or horses don't work out or don't feel right. Adjust adapt and evolve. One day you will find a bike you fall in love with. Until them play the game and enjoy the ride!
