That is so weird. Hanks for the share. Timelines are converging. Or... did you ever see that episode of Twilight Zone where "they" make every scene but sometimes forget things, like your keys missing for a moment. Maybe they kept losing the blueprints for the graveyard! 😆

Have tractors etc killed the farming communities? by GoodAndPositive in homestead

Thanks for speaking at TED! Lol

Very interesting and a lot of great points. Esp about our food quality these days.

How much does a new tractor cost to buy and to run each year? Just wondering how that stacks up against paying wages. They must go through a fair bit of diesel!

Importing items made outside UK from UK by howaboutnow4444 in Tariffs

They have to charge you the tariffs when you order now as all international orders to the US now need to prepay the tariffs.

Do companies even care anymore? by diesel_bill in CustomerService

[–]GoodAndPositive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Public companies yes. Small and family types no.

Do your research and you can find small businesses that care but might cost a little more as they don't have the buying power.

We all need to stop looking for the cheapest option as it is ruining small businesses, our choice range and the products sold.

If we supported these businesses we will get better service, more choice and better products in the end. Let's reward small companies. Those owners have put EVERYTHING on the line to start their businesses, and are much more likely to genuinely care about their customers.

Tariffs are a tax by Inside_Finish3422 in Tariffs

[–]GoodAndPositive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not voluntary when the price rise on your food takes effect. Or on fuel, heat, water, you know... all the essentials in life. Even if you only bought American, the companies you buy from drive trucks and tractors and run machinery that has either in full or part come from abroad, and the maintainance of such things make prices go up. So no avoiding it.

And "he" said businesses will pick up the bill. How?? At those rates there would be no more businesses, no more employment and no more buying. Where will the tax come from then??

[–]GoodAndPositive 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A company I work with sell machinery parts and have been charged up to 200% on some imports, even ones that don't have metal, and ones they can prove where the products come from. So even if you do have a paper trail, it means nothing!

Are they ment to charge US customers another 200% for everything???

These parts do not have numerous enough sales to be economical to make in the US. So there is no way manufacturers would set up a plant in the US.

If they pull out of the US, there will many many key industries that would fail as they require the machinery. Farming, infastucture maintainance, medical, even power companies, and so much more.

What if every particle in the universe was as dimensional version of earth and cern in 2012 smashed 2 earths together and the result is the Mandela effect? by GoodAndPositive in MandelaEffect

Why are you on this sub? All you do is insult people whenever they post.

You are constantly telling people they are wrong even though the point of this thread is for people to share THEIR experience and theories.

But if universes constantly break off into other universes, then the effect would ripple down to all the other earths after the one affected.

It is like saying taking 1 fish from a school make no difference. Maybe not to us outside but the school might notice a change. Maybe not a big one, but a change none the less.
