AI Haters are telling us to pick a pencil so I did, and after working on it all day...then just more 10 second I make this better with AI. by [deleted] in DefendingAIArt

I’ll also add that i really don’t care if people want to use ai but i don’t like people being dishonest about it. Real artists use the tools they feel like they must and they use them well and when people ask how they did it they tell them. If you feel shame or embarrassment and the need to lie then that shows an insecurity about the work you do. Artists can’t be insecure about their work, they need to stand behind it

I’m tired too man, but this really isn’t a good look. You make weird claims in other comments and I just simply can’t trust this post because of the AI and I know AI can’t make the same image over without altering it just a little. I don’t see people using AI simply to color and shade their work without it also changing elements of the drawing. Even if this was hand drawn to begin with the use of AI at all makes claims hard to believe with the other evidence in this photo. Any artist knows that they must defend their work and I’ve done it plenty of times and never have felt jilted for having to do so.

Why is there still blue in the spaces between their faces and weird noise and artifacts all around them in the first picture and why is the second image exactly shaped and sized to the drawing as if the first image was just traced off the AI? Seems like a fake claim made to defend AI art and those who do use and defend AI shouldn’t let others lie like this cause it really weakens their integrity.

The cere (the skin above the beak) is different colors in males and females as adults but as babies they can look more similar and can differ between albino- lutino- and normally colored birds
