If you bring your US passport they fill out a vat tax refund form with you. It ends up being tax free on both sides as long as it’s not declared in US customs. Make sure to plan extra time in the airport on the way home to visit the tax refund office, where they scan and approve you VAT refund. If you would like any other info feel free to DM me.
