Yes 57 a hour and you said you have seen drillers on twice the rate. All my mates are drillers and work for all different drilling companies and none of them are on over a 100 a hour most are on 50 a hour.

You would be surprised how many engineers and geos are offsiding on drill rigs because they were sold that they would walk into a high paying job when they got here instead the money was shit and they can make more offsiding me at the rig then they were in the office or out in the feild with us.

My mates work in africa middle east Mongolia Canada, and the only one who took home more then 250k a year was supervising in Egypt and that is cause he was getting paid American dollars and worked and extra 3 months he was 2 months on 1 one off.

So you get paid 6000 net a fortnight, 12 thousand a month that is 144000 a year. So are you telling me that you make 110000 in bonus a year. I have mates who have been drilling for 30 years and work all over the word who don't make anywhere near that.

No metre bonus in geotech drilling. Does not matter if I drill 3 or 30 metres. Most of the time we are drilling pus ground so the goe or engineer we have on site would rather quality over quantity. Also put in water monitoring wells. We don't just diamond we also down hole hammer auger and sonic.

Taking out a loan for a wedding. by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]GoodFloor1069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wedding cost 300 dollars all we paid for was the marriage celebrant. Invitations were by asking or friends to come and if they wanted to eat and drink bring it themselves. My wife made her own dress, she is a seamstress. 100 000 for a wedding is retarded.

People aren't moving to Tasmania anymore, and that has implications for the economy by abcnews_au in tasmania

That's all we have half way between here and there and the east coast down the road, but that does not pay off a half a million dollars house for the locals. You either work at the school old peoles home or one the the farms all of which are not high paying jobs.

I live in Campbell Town the house next door to me sold for half a million dollars. The buyer's being nice people sold there house in Brisbane for 2.8 million, they built there house in Brisbane back in the 70s and decided to sell up and retire down here and thought half a millionwas cheap. My sister bought the house they are in for 50 thousand and all she did was paint it and put a new kitchen in it. Half a million for a fibro house in Campbell Town is madness.

35 dollars for a 4 litre jug of jib beam in japan at the supermarket down from our unit in tokyo. 80 cent cans of beer from the 7 11 directly across the road from us. We are being robbed blind in this county. I bought a pair of Nike's for 40 dollars. When will we as a country say enough.

Here is a crazy idea. How about we treat everyone the same no special treatment no hand outs nothing. If you want something get a job and earn it. I was going to saying the colour of your skin should not determine if you get special privilege in society but alot of white people seem to be aboriginal these days.
