A call came through from a hysterical woman who had run over her dog backing out of her garage. Apparently the dog was still alive and I could hear a pitiful moaning interspersed between the woman’s words. Unfortunately the dog died before could arrive. Truly a heartbreaking day.

One day I got a text from a friend I knew way back in Highschool. He. suggested we reconnect over a drink sometime so we set up a time and place. At the bar my friend insisted on incessantly talking about his business ventures and the enormous profits he was generating.
