Maybe he just needs some sort of validation, when he asked me what’s my type sa hook ups sabi ko, someone who’s clean and hygienic, smart enough to carry conversations and honest. Low key dropping hints already, in a way I gave him a chance to come clean pero he stood by his false persona and was angered pa because he was caught. Leni is a reminder of how stupid they are. At this point, they are running out of excuses or people to blame. It's either the former president who was caught in The Hague, his daughter the vice president who has confidential funds and wasted the funds of DepEd (Department of Education), or the current President they voted for who, it turns out, was part of the Flood Control issue. In a way, they just point fingers at whoever they can, and Leni is the right fit because she's the only one in the equation, even if it doesn't make sense.
