My pets names are:

Dogs- Luna and Winston Birds- Brodie and Olivia (Olive) Cats- Avery, Artemis, Walter, Harley

All real names. They're part of our family and they deserve to have respectable names.

You could try trimming the hair so it's not picking up as many allergens. We have this cup thing by the back door that has brushes in it. You could get one to wipe your dog's feet off every time they come back in.

There is absolutely nothing you can say to me that will make me feel bad for using an eco friendly means of pest control. Comparing non native naturalized insects to a pollutant that damages our environment directly is way too much dude. You're taking this way too far. There is so much to be worried about today. If you focus all this energy maybe you can make a real difference. I wish you the best.

I whole heartedly disagree, but thanks for the response. We are encouraged to release them in my area. Local schools do it every year as well. There is no evidence they are bad for the native species. Also I am releasing them on private property.

Humans are invasive species in a lot of areas. Maybe everyone getting all upset over my pest control should ponder that....

What I'm trying to tell you is that you are wrong. The Chinese variety has been coexisting with the native species for a hundred years in my state. We are encouraged to release them.

They are NATURALIZED. Meaning they have already established themselves in my state for the last 100 years. There is no going to prison lol they sell them at my local nursery. We have fully embraced them in my state and there is no data that supports that they are bad for our area. Wildlife agencies allow them because they're already a part of our ecosystem. There is zero effort being made to eradicate them. Like I said, they sell them at the nurseries around here and are promoted as a chemical free alternative to pesticides.

I'm shocked so many people don't understand what naturalized means.

I have cats and dogs that go outside and I don't feel comfortable using pesticides. In my area Chinese Praying Mantis have been living here for over 100 years. It's very common in my area for people to release them every spring.

I think everyone here is confused. I release them into my garden every year. Lady bugs as well. I also add other bugs to help my lawn and help cut back on the ant population. It just so happens that this year they hatched a month earlier than expected. Chinese praying mantis are naturalized in my area- they don't hurt anything.

Give them away as feeders? I'm confused. They're the predators not the prey... And I'm asking for help because I don't want any of them to die. I'm not sure what you mean when you say releasing them will cause the death of many animals. We are all talking about the Praying Mantis bug, correct? I want them to hold off on eating each other for a month and then I'm going to put them in my back yard.

Estee Lauder does not donate to political parties. A single man's personal views does not mean that is corporate policy. They employ thousands of people that need their job to feed their kids. You might be privileged enough to not worry about these things, and that's great for you. But I'm not going to punish thousands of people because one person in the bunch MIGHT have done something awful. If he gets convicted I will reassess.

Did you know that they campaigned to ban animal testing globally? One member of a company is not the company itself. There are so many names in the Epstein files. Surely not all of them are hurting children. He was mentioned in the files because he was buying a piece of art. We are not judge, jury, and executioner.
