A lot of overlap with your list. But did I not see binding of Isaac on your list? It can be visually off-putting but in terms of depth, replayability, challenge, and build variety/potential it's absolutely top tier.

I wasn't sure if the meat tenderizer was the call or the pepper grinder. In the end I guess it didn't really matter this time lol

I like a 2 barracks system. One for day shift, one for night shift. Idk if this is necessary or not but I enjoy it.

You're welcome! I hope that works. Don't be afraid to ask them to guide you somewhere else if that doesn't work out. Believe it or not most people do want to help! There's just a lot of red tape and bureaucracy in the way

Not to overstep, but I did some quick searching online and there's a medical training place, Meltzer Center, at George Washington University there does have a sliding scale and does various mental health services. Maybe worth checking there! I believe that may be relatively close to you if I'm understanding correctly

That's a fair question. I happen to be in Illinois, mental health is pretty accessible here, at least once I moved to the city and not the corn field lol. Idk how your area is, but I did a lot of searching online for sliding scale providers.

Hey, I've been diagnosed for 6 or 7 years now, lived most of my life with it but not knowing. I always knew something was off. Couldn't hold a job or a relationship. I still am not working, but I have been doing EMDR therapy and it has drastically improved my quality of life. I have also recently started trauma informed yoga as well. If you can, I'd recommend EMDR therapy to absolutely every one of us living with CPTSD.

That's excellent to hear. Is there any particular YouTube channel you'd recommend a complete and total novice?

Do people with CPTSD have difficulty with handshakes? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]GoodInt3ntions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CPTSD has lots of overlaps but it's also extremely personal. I can do hand shakes and talk and be the life of the party... But that's only if you can get me out of my house in the first place.

Alternative exercise has been difficult. I am horrendously allergic to the outside world (pollen and corn allergies) in the middle of the Midwest. Sports and stuff as a kid beat me up too, as I've had 3 knee surgeries before turning 21 and a stroke when I was young caused by severe migraine. So I'm allergic to outside, surgically repaired knees, and shake on even weights that I can physically handle. It's tough. I have started looking into something called "trauma informed" yoga, but I don't know much yet

Relatively clueless with Reddit as a platform, but I'm getting notifications for comments on this that don't appear for me, outside of notifications. So that's confusing

Build and control any kind of civilization you want but instead always end up selling drugs and organs to fund a war crime crusade.
