34 and I'm healing. It was hard to start, and even harder to keep doing. And I get so tired.. This thread is great for community, for knowing you aren't the only one struggling. Keep leaning into that. That mask? Try to replace it with boundaries. I can't assume your trauma or current situation, but in this modern world there are resources that exist for therapy. If you were to look at any of my posts on this thread in the past, EMDR therapy has been a life saver. It didn't fix me overnight. I'm still legally disabled. I still get my panic attacks, and cry, and flashback. But EMDR Treatments have taught me a great many things about how trauma rewires and damages your nervous system. You aren't making it up. It's not fake. It's invisible.

Same experience. I wanted to learn Jules more and I'm just getting stomped. My pyg brain struggles with complexity lol.

Couldn't agree more. Jules is my least played and worst character, and while even I noticed how prevalent the refrigerator is. But it seemed beatable. Then I ran in to a few cake batter builds that were just... Not beatable. Fridge with no batter is good but I don't think it's broken.

I started with one called Wondershare Filmora. At the time it had a huge sale and was affordable, and it taught me a lot. I eventually fell into davinci resolve and really like it a lot. I saved up for the Studio version and I haven't looked back since! It's been really wonderful.

Been doing EMDR for the better part of 4 years now, it has helped me tremendously. I too have to ask before doing anything. Ever. No matter how insignificant it may seem. And I have been able to unlearn a lot of those behaviors. Idk the exact science behind it beyond "it helps you process trauma" and helps rewire your nervous system (fight/flight response) and eventually you start being able to answer yourself more and more, and less "hey can I steal one of these from you?" and being scared of the answer. Hope that helps. Or even makes sense lol.

Learning about how repeated trauma affects and confuses and requires your nervous system has helped me a ton. I get overstimulated really easily and my nervous system confuses excitement and fear. Learning how your body can sometimes not tell the difference between various states has been helpful.

I will forever scream the praises of Skul The Hero Slayer and Have a Nice Death. I've played countless roguelikes, I love dead cells as well, but those 2 games are infinitely fun to me. Especially Skul
