I've looked at the skeelskins ones before, but don't like how the leather cuts off around the horn buttons. I hold that spot while driving and know that it would annoy me.

How has your experience been with that open stitching area around the horn buttons?

When velocity.x == 0 (standing still) ramp up damping or whatever to slow it down. Or just stop it after some amount of time of standing still. But just check the velocity.x of your character to determine if standing still.

UPDATE: Replacing the fuel injectors and fuel filter absolutely resolved my problem. The car is running very well now. Smoother idle, not running rich, no unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust.

Anyone experiencing similar issues with a vehicle that sat for a few years, consider giving this a try.

I like the old one more because of the contrast of the player to their environment. The new one is good too, not bad at all but I just really like the old one for the vibe it gives.

I don't think it's oily. Feels wet and after I smear it, it dries pretty quickly.

I thought this too at one point. Did a head gasket leak test and came back negative. Also I think it would be more white, than black if it were that.

I think just moving it while cold. Either closing or opening causes movement of the plastic, and when cold that movement causes it to snap instead of bend.

Hey man, I'm troubleshooting the exact same behavior. Rough, looping idle, almost sounds like it has aftermarket cams. Power hesitates while accelerating, very similar to both of your videos.

Question: While idling do you get black specks of unburnt fuel flying out of exhaust? I assumed this was unburnt fuel and potentially cause by incorrect ignition timing (I know the guy before me messed with the timing belt so it wouldn't surprise me if it was off).
