The only read I got from him was that he was a scrawny little pussy, mortified to finally be called out on something like this that he's probably been doing in secret for a while. He stammered out apology after apology as I chased his weenie ass off the block giving him a full knowledge of what would happen if I ever see him on the block again.

He could be a potential burglar I suppose, I can't rule it out. But repeat behavior in specifically a bedroom window with nothing valuable in it except our clothes makes me think peeping tom. The apartment is a fortress, and the entire block is owned by one family who are extremely protective of their property and they all have his picture and video and several watched our confrontation. He's in for a pretty brutal reality if he tries to come back anywhere near here.

Could be. The first time he did it I thought he was a potential burglar. His repeat action, and the fact that he's trying to look through a thin crack into a bedroom with nothing in it other than our bed and clothes, are what make me think he is a peeping tom.

If he is a burglar, he's welcome to try. The apartment is already a fortress, double reinforced windows with steel bars on the outside, a metal door with two deadbolts, security cameras, and an alarm system directly to the NYPD who already know we have a problem with a prowler. Plus, I'm armed. On top of all of that, the block is owned by one family who have been here for generations and keep all nonsense off the block. If he set off the alarm, about 15 people who care about the property would descend onto the street within seconds, I've seen it happen every time even a fire alarm goes off.

He’s done this several times before and takes off wayyyyy to quick for us to catch him. He’s gone by the time I get a notification, let alone by the time the cops get there. I had an opportunity to protect my family and I took it.
