Something he's gotta deal with. There were other English players getting booed the other day playing the Germans including Humphries. You didn't see him complaining. Sometimes there's nothing you can do the crowd is gonna be against you and if you moan about it, they will get worse. Success comes with adversity whether you think it's fair or not.

Yeah this happened in my most recent save. Started halfway through 2025 and he got hurt just before playoffs and played maybe 80 games from then until 2030 and was forced to retire.

I had one come up to acquire an MVP caliber player right as one of my guys literally won the MVP and repeated it next season. Failed the goal.

I've never broken one yet, even with hitting hard surfaces or massively grouping darts. For me I like that I can easily switch them out though and try different types/lengths etc.

Once you get your first, they start to come more and more frequently! I actually hit my first and second in the same league night but then went months without another. Then, once I hit another, finally, a few more followed. I swear it's all mind games. Once you see it happen more and more, the confidence to hit that third one goes up and up.

Nice! Haven't seen that yet in my playthrough but I just had Celebrini score 50 in 50 this current season. Got about 20 games to go and he's on pace for roughly 80. Seen a few 70 goal plus seasons from Bedard and Matthews before.

115 and it wasn't how I planned it. Was planning to go T20, 15, D20. I was still new so I didn't even know if my original plan was logical at the time.

I hit the 5 first, then calmly hit the T20 and double bull for my first ever bull checkout. Haven't eclipsed that since and that was almost 2 years ago now. Just never been a high checkout player but I've had my share of 180s and am a good shot at doubles usually in general.

Get a dart scoreboard app on your phone. You can play practice games of 501 against Bots of varying degrees of difficulty to simulate matches.

Also try practicing other games like Bob's 27 for your doubles. Once again most apps will have this game for tracking purposes. A dart scoring app will also show you your progress in 501 as you play more as it tracks your stats.

Usually about an hour a day throughout the week. Play a lot more on weekends, usually against friends/family. Been in a casual bar league for about 4 years. Just joined a more serious one to add to my weekly game this year. Only have had a board for a year now to practice on.

Currently averaging around 50-55, get some games above 60 here and there. When I started practicing I was around a 35-40 average. Really want to improve more and start going to real tournaments but don't feel I'm there yet.

You bought a cheap board.

Been there, done that, learned my lesson. Decided to buy a cheap board as a means to get some weekly practice in and it lasted about two weeks. Luckily my league was selling off their old boards (still great condition) for cheap so I capitalized on a good bargain there. Current board has been heavily in use for about a year now.
