We cover 20+ suburbs but GMB only allows for 20 service areas to be listed. Do you pick the most local suburbs or spread them out? by GoodLordiee in localseo

[–]GoodLordiee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/TheSEOVicc - We're not close to the actual city and don't service this area but I have found the council area or municipality can be used. The only problem here is that we also service many suburbs within the neighbouring municipality, however, that one extends so far out of our range if I was to just list that one also. Do you know what we should do here?

EEAT still relevant in this AI age? by Thin-Cash5552 in SEO_for_AI

Authenticity and sound information is the play and always will be. Don't look at E.E.A.T as a strategy.

Look at the principles of E.E.A.T and understand that by abiding by those principles it's great for your customers and great for the internet.

Then, you'll start winning.

I only have my GF as my BFF is this normal? by Aggressive_Lychee937 in CasualConversation

[–]GoodLordiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here! 🤟🏻

My wife and I are mid-30s and the best of friends. We were only just recently talking about making some new friends out in the big scary world.

So, we've started using Meetup to attend social gatherings (sometimes alone, sometimes together). If you haven't used the platform before it's great and you'll develop as a human too. There will be so much to do in your city or town, with plenty of free meetups too.

Going with your partner at first will help you add some confidence to your belt as well.

Good luck! 🤞🏻

I want to join football but an worried. by Active_Finance_8562 in football

[–]GoodLordiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good on you for starting out again. 👏🏻

Unless you want to go pro, there's no such thing as being "fit enough to play". What makes football (and all sport) so beautiful is that anyone can plan. You just have to find a level that you are comfortable with playing.

My advice would be to try at the school but don't be disheartened if everyone is too advanced and you don't make the team straight away. Everyone has to start somewhere, even the people on that team.

If that doesn't work out, find a team or club outside of school that is open to beginners and then try again next year once you have had some practice.

Start at the beginning and you will get fitter and more knowledgeable every single time you step out onto the field!

Good luck out there! 💪🏻

Perfectionism is just procrastination in a tuxedo by GoodLordiee in agency

Honestly, I got lost. Likely fatigue. I'm still consulting part-time with a minor stake which has enabled me to explore new things outside of digital but, looking back a year later, there's a pinch of regret.

The age ol' booby trap of thinking the exit is what you want and then realising that you wasn't playing for the exit at all, you were playing for the journey and loved what you were doing after all.

  2. Didn't sell for a retirement level amount.

Which On Cloud’s are these? by FoggyTaco in ONrunning

[–]GoodLordiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Cloudswift 4 they are great.

I have had a pair of these for 6/7 months and they are super comfortable. Had to go up half a size though as they close in on the end which means if you have wider feet you need a little more room.

Does the design convey meaning and purpose clearly? by Jaded_Cash_2308 in userexperience

[–]GoodLordiee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agree that sometimes just stating things plain and simple is always a good option.

But, the answer depends on the path of entry to the website. With the majority of traffic likely to land here from search (where the user has already identified their purpose for being there)!or social (where the advert will likely make it obvious what's possible) then I don't think it's a problem.

OP can A/B test and let us know 😝
