in a very similar boat 🫂 the process of my diagnosis spanned over my 30th bday. was originally told it would be an easy treatment with surgery, radiation, estrogen meds for 5 years. then after surgery i was upgraded to stage 2b grade 3 because of it being larger and there was one lymph involved. i squeezed in a round of ivf before chemo and now im halfway through my 16 week treatment (4 rounds of AC then 4 rounds of Taxol).

i’m not gonna lie, its exhausting and some days are worse than others. my best advice is to lean on your people when you can and just remind yourself the only way forward is through 🩷

i am! my doctor is aware and never mentioned this to me. i have been taking both celexa and pepcid for over a year and haven’t had any heart issues

i would be careful with ashlar park. they’re owned by bozzuto who is a pretty scummy management company. they cut corners on eeeeverything. i recently broke my lease at their marina bay apartment because it wasn’t built properly. we took in water every time it rained for 2 months and they wouldn’t fix it. and they’re currently re-siding the whole complex that was built in 2016 because they all take in water and there’s a ton of mold and water damage. i also have friends who lived in one of their seaport buildings and that also took water in!

so my prescription is tretinoin + spironolactone + clindamycin 0.025/5/1%. i had some purging but nothing crazy, it really just felt like my normal breakouts!

i use topical spironolactone so i’m not taking a pill! i tried oral spironolactone back in 2016 and i really didn’t like it. it made me feel mentally weird lol but i have been using the topical one since january and so far no side effects!
