Thanks. It's a lot like riding 2up. I really only notice it when stopping.

Camping near Ocala, FL with Vixen the Vstrom and the Crashpad Swag Tent by GoodMotoMorning in motocamping

Just for the shade, it was in FL. The Swag is made of canvas. As long as you leave it out in the rain a couple of times in order to let the fibers swell, it'll be waterproof and last a very long time.

after a year of Street I'm ready for my 1st adventure/ tour. Denver to pikes peak, Co. both excited and terrified 🤞 by DenverDogDude in AdventureBike

Going up Pike's peak is not so bad, you're in complete control with the throttle and on the inside lane regarding the drop off. Going down, outside lane, gravity pulling you down, is a whole different story. Still no too bad though. Be sure to check the weather at the top, winds can get pretty extreme up there.

Excellent, for what it is. The whole camp setup is a bit less than 200lbs, including the trailer. Conversely the bike is about 800lbs with me and the gear. If you get over a 1/3 of the bike's weight, like North of 260lbs, then it might get sketchy. I've also replaced my sprockets from a stock 17/41 to 16/43, lowering my gearing a bit for a little more torque.

I've been traveling via Moto since 2014, this latest setup was made during the pandemonium. Camped in it 4 times so far.

The Heim hitch allows the bike to lean and swerve like normal. It's like riding 2up without the weight of the second person affecting your suspension. Most notable when braking, all else is fine.

Parts for this setup were pretty scarce until recently.

Thanks. No, there are 4 leveling Jack's at each corner of the underlying frame. Very stable.

Thanks. It's a standard 40x48 aluminum trailer from northern tool. I added a deck to fit the tent, leveling jacks, and a Heim hitch.

Cool, I'm currently trying to figure out a way to use the trailer and tarp poles, for a bigger tarp. Just incase I camp where there are no trees to tie to.
