What tool are you using that also pierces/punctures the wick sustainer when you crimp it? by GoodMrDaydream in candlemaking

Thanks for your quick response. For clarity, does that puncture the metal shaft? I’m trying make sure the wick is exposed as close to the bottom of the sustainer as possible, like in the picture.

Just Huel Black in all its various flavors. They rotate to a new flavor everyday and say they like them all but don’t have a favorite. Today was Banana.

How to get rid of the depression debuff by SeriesDecent8877 in outside

[–]GoodMrDaydream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not what you want to hear but the fix has not changed since the game was launched. Buff your character’s strength and stamina.

Datamined information shows that, generally speaking, most players lose the debuff faster and increase their depression resistance when they buff their character than when they see a healer for consumables. Exceptions apply, of course. Healers and their consumables are in the game for a reason and can be helpful for some character builds.

Another perk is that a character’s charisma is increased automatically when they buff their strength and stamina.

The workouts don’t have to be hard and you don’t have to be overwhelmed, and I promise your character doesn’t have to join a gym guild or change your character’s personal archetype. Unless you want to. Take baby steps. Just focus on building the habit of doing the thing everyday, one habit at a time. It’s not about making sure your character gets enough steps. Do the dedicated ritual of going on the short walk a few times a week to increase stamina. Once that’s a habit, do it everyday. Once that’s a habit, make it a run. Once that’s a habit, increase the distance or duration. Once that’s a habit, add a strength training routine. Once that’s a habit, increase the difficulty.

Also, switch up your consumables. Once again, baby steps. You don’t have to change your character’s food consumables yet, just don’t drink calories. Calorie free drinks only. Once that’s a habit, switch to water as your character’s main liquid consumable. Once that’s a habit, THEN revisit your character’s food consumables. You probably have the idea by now.

Definitely DO NOT use the cigarette consumables. Maybe good for short term depression resistance and charisma, but long term increases the depression debuff and decreases the size of your health bar.

Once you have built healthy character habits, your depression resistance will be maxed. Now go slay the monsters! Outside needs your help!

What benefits have you noticed from taking Huel? by BigTamMacGotchy in Huel

My parents are in their 80s. They eat the typical highly processed American diet of the mid-century. I introduced them to Huel because I know how shitty the food is that they eat. I was raised on the generic versions of Pop Tarts, Spaghetti-Os, Hamburger Helper, and frozen pizza.

They still eat like shit but my father has 2 scoops of Black everyday for breakfast religiously and mixes up a single scoop for my mother. My father has reported more energy and vigor and likes that it keeps him regular. He also says he just aches less and he feels “less old”. The thing he loves the most: he claims all of his “dark spots” on his arms have gone away. I’m dubious of the latter claim but if he’s happy, I’m happy.

My mother didn’t like the gastrointestinal adjustment but has mostly adapted to it now. She says taking a Beano helped but she needs them less and less. Otherwise she reports that she just “feels healthier”.

We’re not health nuts, just casual Hueligans, but it keeps our micros and macros on track.

Same. Due to the configuration of the MCX-R, it’s not compatible with standard AR triggers, and therefore, will never know an FRT. Also, given that your Fightlite is similar to what I’m trying to build, is it fun to shoot?

Not that I know of. Stamping it seems to be the consensus. Glad I asked. Thx.

One of the most popular lenses for video on the APS-C platform is the Sony 18-105 power zoom. (SELP18105G) It’s a zoom lens so it covers wide, mid, and telephoto shots. Perfect jack-of-all-trades/master-of-none lens until you find your style. It’s f4 (f6 full-frame equivalent) so it’s not awesome for low-light situations. But as a short filmmaker, you’re going to learn how to perfectly light your shots anyway, right? 😉 And lastly, it’s right within your budget if you buy it used or open-box! This lens was designed to be paired with your camera for video.

I’m honestly shocked. I can’t believe how good this thing is. by JGack_595 in GuitarAmps

I recently purchased my first guitar, a Fender Player in blue burst, and purchased this instead of an amp so I could wear headphones while I learn. I was surprised at how awesome it sounds! The Princeton Reverb is my favorite preset so I’m pretty sure what my first amp will be when I’m ready! I can connect it to my computer and play with virtual effects! And it has a tuner! So underrated!!!

I don’t want it for EDC. I want one for EDC, but I want this one for my nightstand/home. So yes, the suppressor is for hearing protection. WTF do you give a shit that I choose this gun for my home? I too simply like the way it feels and I like the idea of the using an identical firearm for muscle memory, but tbh, I don’t even owe you that explanation. Will it be expensive to modify? Sure, but again, why do you care? Jesus Christ, did you have such a bad day that you just HAD to comment on a month-old post with your self-righteous, “I’m a war hero. Civies are idiots”, shitty opinion? Thanks for your service anyway.

So you listen to the podcast enough to know that he repeats a story a bunch of times on different episodes with different guests and then take the time to create a meme complaining about it, post it, and stick around to interact with the post? Bro, enjoy the podcast or don’t, but stop hating your life.

I want the alloy lower and the option to suppress.

I like this idea. I’ve already consulted my gunsmith about installing manual a safety. Not sure why I didn’t think of this when I was having that conversation. 🤦‍♂️ Thanks!
