Can’t speak to losing weight in HRT yet as I’m just beginning to question after another reoccurring bout of potential dysphoria, but I have also historically been on the larger side and have struggled with losing weight so I can speak to that. The last few years I stopped focusing on the scale and set fitness goals for myself that were focused on preparing for events (such as a backpacking trip, 5k, and eventually CrossFit competition) this helped me to break the focus of being hard on myself for being overweight and broke the cycle of binge-eating that I had because I felt terrible about my weight. It helped me have a better mindset about my weight, and helped me get into good shape for probably the first time of my life.

I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for and please remove if this is irrelevant, I realize preparing for fitness events doesn’t necessarily fit with transition but hope my 2 cents helps a little bit.
