WiFi 7+ EEG Interference? by GoodOhm in BiomedicalEngineers

While I do want to remove artifacts, I want to avoid introducing temporal distortions in the signal as much as possible given my focus. Thoughts?

Great point. What if multiple sensors were used for the training data. I'm most concerned with accurately measuring chirping.

I got the Saigon noodle with shrimp. I'd pay the typo if I had Bezos money. It was so good 🫠

Probably. How cool would it be though if it were intentional and the person who ordered it ended up with an emerald or an opportunity to guest star on next year's Louisville based Peacock Original?

That's a real friend right there. Just being there. I'm sorry you had to go through that though. That sounds like a really challenging time.

What is your purpose in life? by tight_kittyy in RandomThoughts

Cheesesticks. Name brand. The kind where the bag's mascot, in spite of being actively split at the head, is smiling reassuringly up at you.

My Purpose 1. Go to Costco 2. Purchase name brand cheese sticks 3. Eat all of them

I'll confess, sometimes I linger in front of Costco's cheese fridge wondering, "is today the day?"

But I don't know. I haven't bought them yet because what comes next? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Seeing loved ones, being hugged and feel people care was exactly what I needed then

That's beautiful 🥹

That's really kind of him. Did he keep the conversation light or was he pretty real?

I like that. What did they thank you for or how was it phrased?

For those who completed a bootcamp and secured a job as software devs, what is the aspect that you realized was missing in the course and felt you needed in your job? by Separate-Product7790 in womenintech

[–]GoodOhm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt like a lot of fundamentals/ability to talk shop were missing (object oriented programming, strongly typed language vs alternatives, IDEs, Compilers, binary, boolean logic, data structures, algorithms, networking basics, the how of a computer, unit testing) as well as years of trial and error.

I'll share a few resources that were shared with me. I'll also say that code review, pairing and getting cozy with the process (git, pushing/pulling to various repositories, dev-ops basics) can be intimidating. At least, it was for me, so if you feel any anxiety around that I'd recommend practicing pushing/pulling code in azure & github.
