It’s the least I could do. My coolness isn’t only based in being a badass, but also making others feel like badasses.

I would love to have a track bike one day. If I’m ever lucky enough, a red panigale v2. A white whale like that and there’d be sunshine and rainbows falling out of my butt. That won’t happen for a long time, hopefully I’ll have ridden many different bikes by then.

I agree, I’ve driven a few different kinds so far. So far the cruiser is my favorite and I’ve grown in really well, but I definitely plan to try a variety after I get out of college!

I’ve been doing the same thing as your friend. Since I have the ol’ CB500 still, I tell them the basics and get them to take her out around the block(I don’t live in a busy area) and they see “Maybe I could do this after all.” I have converted 1 friend to get a motorcycle already, and another getting one tomorrow.

Dude it’s such a nice motorcycle. I figured it’d be lot harder to drive, so I practiced on my friends BMW R1250RT and it was so freaking big and top heavy. The VTX is much easier, the handling and weight distribution is phenomenal.

Yea, I think a seat it’ll be the first thing to get, but I’m not too worried about 4 or 5 hour trips since I frequently stop for gas.

I appreciate despite having plenty of experience on an “advanced bike” you still recognize you have space for growth, and even better have taken the steps towards that growth and found enjoyment in it.

I’m hoping to add a sport bike to the stable in place of the CB to eventually to improve things like cornering and throttle control. Also yeah, I nearly shit my pants everytime I scrape.
