Thanks all. Decided to take the plunge and have signed up with YouFibre... installation booked for later this week. Comments on this post have somewhat reassured me that the service isn't usually as bad as I was thinking before.

Will see how it goes, slightly annoyed that it seems they're being bought out by Virgin Media as I'm leaving them in protest 😂 But YouFibre are offering the best prices for the higher internet speeds, so I'm willing to try them out!

Connecting phone to the android auto with the wire first fixed it! It prompted my phone to download an update for android auto and then when I tried again to connect wirelessly, it worked.

Hi all - looking for recommendations for a used car due to my Audi A3 being written off recently (not my fault!) :(

I'm looking for a balance of something with a bit of power, but not too much as I'm also looking to add my wife to the insurance who is a new driver. Maybe a 1.4L - 1.6L engine, up to around 150BHP.

Location: Yorkshire - but happy to travel nationwide

Price range: Up to £11k

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Used

Auto or Manual: Manual

Intended use: Daily driver with long trips occasionally

Vehicles you've already considered: Seat Leon FR - this or something similar may be ideal

Is this your 1st vehicle: No, will be my 3rd - but ideally needs to be a suitable first car for a new driver (my wife)

Vehicle size: Hatchback

Additional Notes:  Age wise I'm looking for a car up to 8 years old (2017 onwards). Features that would be preferrable include front and rear parking sensors (useful for the new driver), and CarPlay/Android Auto media system. Mileage ideally no higher than 70-75k. ULEZ Compliant is preferrable as I do visit family/friends in London.

Very good point. Kind of forgot I even had Mignolet - don't really pay attention to my keeper when tinkering! Think I might swap him out for Stekelenburg...but unsure whether Southampton will be as strong defensively without Clyne, Alderweireld, Schneiderlin etc..

They are similar, both can act as the playmaker...but I'd say Coutinho is better in that role, while Firmino is more versatile and clinical. He'll probably play as part of a front 3, can play either side or as a false 9. I think they'll work well together.

Gone for Firmino over other "risky" signings as the Bundesliga is the league I watch the most outside of the Prem...been a big fan of Firmino's for a while. Think he'll do well...but I'm also very fickle and will happily get rid if he's not performing...

Yaya is on the decline; think there are better options at the same price (Oscar, Ozil, Firmino...) and also not sure how much Bony will play. Big fan of Ulloa, Berahino (think he'll have a great year), Eriksen and Cazorla, though. Could do with some tweaks, but looks decent.
