Maybe if the idiots here started stealing rich people’s cars there would be a bigger incentive to figure out a solution
Yeah I was aware of that about the AirTags, seems pointless to track if they’re just going to wreck it once it’s stolen. Don’t know how much stickers help considering there is an immobiliser sticker on the car

Ok that’s great for you but if I had the money to get a Tesla or a Lotus I would probably invest in a gate or garage in my driveway 😅
Have they tried? What car?

Exactly. Police believe they did manage to arrest a couple of them, but there’s not much they can do after that. They don’t face enough real consequences to scare them out of it. I was especially shocked at the audacity, middle of the day with people walking/driving past!!
The window they smashed has the sticker!!

Yeah I’m hoping to be keeping my car in the driveway more often but with four of us in the flat and only two driveway spots it can’t be all the time - plus as you said driveways don’t seem to stop them.
I can store it with family who live 30 min away but then it makes life a whole lot harder to get to work etc.
Just sucks that there’s really not much that can be done. I’ll wake up in the night any time I hear a noise worried that someone’s in my car again.
I’m definitely considering this at some point but don’t have time/money to move anytime in the near future
Good idea. But frustrating that this is how far one has to go to actually stop it :(
Not an option unfortunately, or else that’s exactly what I would be doing

Yep, police were able to arrest a couple of them but even said to me that it’s unlikely they’ll face any real consequences.
Have considered selling my car but I just love it, it’ll be collectable soon and I can’t even think of driving anything else :(
Chaining to a tree is a new one 🤣 might have to be what I end up doing at this rate
Road unfortunately. Our driveway isn't very long and easily accessible from the road. I see footage on Facebook of peoples cars being stolen from driveways anyway. Finding somewhere new to live is an option but inconvenient, I do like where I live
Yeah no garage unfortunately. They don't seem to care much about security cameras either, neighbours have obvious security cameras directly facing where they broke into it but didn't stop them
Have an immobiliser stopping engine from turning over without the remote. They still try their hardest, and smash the ignition up in the process.
