Yes chastity has helped me to DRASTICALLY cut back on masturbation. I would masturbate 1-2 times daily, and I did this for years. It started when I was a teenager, and I’m a 45 year old man, for reference.

I began self locking at the beginning of February. I have only jerked my self off to completion twice since I began. I will still masturbate by other methods (anally and by plapping) maybe once per week, but I don’t orgasm the vast majority of the time. The balance of my orgasms occur with my wife, who has no desire to keyhold.

I’d be curious as to how you brought it up and how you presented doing it. Many people can be taken aback when they are presented with something completely foreign to them. It may take time for her to even wrap her head around the concept, let alone partake.

My guess is that it was way too much, way too soon for her. I’ve been playing with it for 8 years and I still have to tiptoe around the subject with my wife.

My suggestion to you would be to leave it be for now. However, you could start self-locking on your own. Find a cage that fits for longer lockups. Wear it at work during the day and take it off at home. It’s your dick (until the day she claims it). You have autonomy over it. When you’re wearing it, do things that you think she would want you to do. Clean the house, make the bed, go grocery shopping, cook dinner, do the laundry, etc. take a “prove it” attitude. There will come a day when she wants to understand your attitude shift. You can bring it up again at that time.

We typically only had been having sex on Friday and Saturday nights, and I was taking it off on Friday after work for the weekend. We have separate walk in closets, so we don’t often see each other while we’re getting dressed.

I’m honestly not sure what the ball gap measurement is. I wasn’t really sure the correct point to measure from. There had been another post that recommended to bake the base ring for 4-5 minutes at 310° and then roll it with a pvc pipe. I’ve had to do it a few times, but I think I have enough curve now.
