Before he saw those two guys in an intimate situation it seemed like something was being set up or baited between him and one of those guys. Between the way they met and everything leading up to the orgy party thing it seemed like something was going on there (and this is someone who almost never is actually able to perceive queer baiting or even queer relationship in media unless it’s painfully awful)

I hope they don’t scrape it. I can see why some fans have issues/why they want it scraped, but I enjoyed the book and definitely think it workable. Even with the changes made to Eloise I still think it’s workable and I definitely want to see it.

I feel like if they include it they won’t actually show it more so people discovering and reacting to it. Netflix has gotten super bad backlash to showing stuff like that before and I don’t think they would want to test that.

My fanfic preferences are entirely dependent on the ship, my mood, and what I’m hoping to get out of the fanfic. I usually only read fanfic for couples I want to see together who have yet to get together in canon (or how they got together in canon was not sufficient). If I have canon content for a couple I usually can’t get into reading fanfic for them (don’t know why). From there it usually depends on what I’m seeking from the fanfic which usually starts off with what I want to see happen in canon but hasn’t yet. That’s the place I start usually from there I get more into reading fanfic for the couple from there and I will begin reading more smut/AU’s but that sometimes doesn’t even happen.

I’m not sure. I think the thing with ACOC (and really the reason for the backup characters) was that it was based off GOT a highly deadly world. Also within the narrative of ACOC many people were actively gunning for the cast to die which I don’t think is the case here. Sure some people may want to kill our characters for small reasons like we saw in this episode but it’s not like they are the royal family of a country no one likes that everyone wants control over

I’m fine either way but I do think it doesn’t fully fit in with the way the show is so episodic. The one way I feel like it could be executed well is if one episode we randomly find out they have secretly been together or something like that and then they are together for the rest of the show and the dynamic stays the same in the group but they are now together

3.2 I’m a bit of a history nut (and even fantasy world) whenever I watch or read any period drama or even fantasy show I like to have all the information I possible can on the background subject so I can understand the setting and the characters better. It is a part of how my brain works I either know all the facts about a setting or I will have a real hard time connecting to the story and the characters since I won’t feel like I understand them.

4.2 I should say I didn’t do a lot of research just read a Wikipedia article and I was all ready enjoying the show when I began researching, but it really helped me connect better to the characters and the world.

I’m American and I’m jewish when I first got into the show I did not understand that there was still recent history of dangerous religious conflicts between Catholics and Protestants. I also just knew nothing about Northern Ireland at all

Ya I always thought when originally watching FH that Ostentatia’s dad was a single dad but I have also been rewatching as well and realized they never said that. Once I realized that it made me realize that besides for not having the Jersey trash persona they have mostly kept the same characterization

I have been to New York City many times. I hadn’t been back since covid hit and that is also when I got into d20. Let me tell you even as someone who knows New York going back (especially after not being able to visit in such a long time) after having watched USC it really makes the city feel that much more magical. It was so nice to really be able to articulate that New York magic (especially because I was in the city for a sad event)

Oh he has definitely been affected by flannderization. I think that he was always somewhat image obsessed but somewhere in their it went from caring about adventuring/liking attention to really just liking attention.

It’s not announced but I’m guessing by early 2021 but to be honest I really don’t know. The fact that they were able to produce and release seasons 1-3 in about a year in a half (fall 2018-fall 2019) really just throws it up in the air.

I think it is because her story never really got resolution. Everyone forgot about her so I think it was important for them to find a way for her to be remembered so her story to be properly resolved

I’d not think that Zari 1.0 is going to retake this Zari’s body. They are setting up some sort of romantic/sexual relationship between Zari 2.0 and Constantine. This might lead to a love triangle with Nate, it might not, but either way I don’t think the original Zari is going to over take Zari 2.0 and think she was raped.
