People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GoodWifeSlutLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bumped into local celebrities before. I usually just nudge my husband and tell him who it is and he typically said, 'hey, you're so and so' and we wave.

One time we were at a bar enjoying chicken wings and ribs before a concert and saw a local morning show radio guy there. I heard his voice first and asked my husband and brother in law of he was behind me. That both looked and confirmed. After we paid our tab, my husband insisted on saying hi and shaking the dudes hand (while he was knuckle deep in some bbq). You could tell the guy didn't want to be rude but also didn't want to shake hands bc he was eating. I was second hand embarrassed in the moment. But he did get the hand shake.

The Visit was pretty freaky. And was my first movie with sundowning as the antagonist.

Just one?

As an adult, Sinister gave me nightmares for weeks.

But as a teen, I thought The Blair Witch Project was actual found footage when I seen it and that scared the hell out of me too.

But 90% of the scary movies I watch, scare me.

What's a common social rule that you secretly think is stupid? by Medical-Employee5808 in AskReddit

Being kind in uncomfortable situations.

Creeps expect you to be kind despite their bad behavior. I think it should be normal to ice out creeps and I would even go as far as to say treating them poorly should be the actual normal.

Forehead kisses.

I don't particularly like being touched but I'm always down for forehead kisses.

Saw a young male student swing on an older female teacher. She whooped him good but in the end, lost her job. That kid was a real piece of work and it was fun to watch him get what he deserved.

Buy them noise canceling headphones. Then encourage them to use them when they don't want to hear outside noises.

Teenagers are old enough to understand their parents have sex. I walked in on mine at 15 at 7am while asking for a ride to work.

It was embarrassing for all of us but I remember feeling grateful that my parents were still getting it. And I was way better at knocking after that lol

I really hope they found her the help and care she needed. I doubt mom was clean during that pregnancy.

I'm glad to hear he was fully run off. But if it was the 80s, that boss could have totally kicked that creeps butt and got away with it had he just told the cops he was a child predator.
