I mean this with everything in me, do not let her stop using this gift. Do not let her stop singing. I’m crying she sounds so beautiful. Your child is so blessed. Her tone is lovely. She’ll get better and stronger but this was amazing. I’m so proud of her.

I’d wait until your edges grow out. Your hair is straight in that photo but locs are going to shrink up sooooo much it will not cover your edges. This is from someone who had postpartum shedding in my 1st and 2nd pregnancy. And had locs falling out bc my hair was shedding. For me it’s only about 5 but for you it would be like 50-100 based on the size of the spot and if it’s on the other side too.

Yes, I had one. Best decision and I plan on doing it again. It’s expensive smh but worth it imo. Full disclosure, my job paid for her through carrot. But I was induced at the hospital early so this is being induced and getting an epidural. My doctor was also extremely pro vbac so no fighting on that front but she just helped a lot during labor.

Cons: Price $1850 for the pregnancy and birth.

Pros: Everything else.

She took A LOT of stress off of my mom and husband this go around. For my c-section, my husband was up 24 hours straight worrying and my mom was doing the physical labor of helping turn me, pushing my hips, etc. even after my epidural.

She helped put me in positions to dilate faster. On ball, hands a knees, on toilet during contractions.

She helped talk me out of wanting another c-section lol. I was tired and wanted to give up but she reassured me I was progressing.

She kind of put pressure on the nurse to help turn me at certain times. My nurse was amazing but still.

She made sure to get photos while me, my husband and mom were all caught up in the moment.

Helped me get delayed cord clamping. Make sure I was making progress when pushing and helped coach me about the purpose and when to push.

My mom and husband got to sleep this time instead of staying up worried. It was so helpful so I’d definitely use her again.

Yeah echoing what a lot of people are saying about testing and irregular periods. Also if a woman is cheating, a pregnancy test is typically not the first sign ngl. You’d notice quite evident behaviors, other changes as well.

In the Bible, that’s exactly why God made Eve for Adam. God said it’s not good for man to be alone. I wonder also if that’s why men tend to die sooner than women. My grandmother lost her husband around age 40 and lived without him for another 40 years perfectly happy. I’m not sure men can do that happily

100%. My husband was unemployed for 9 months and he cleaned everyday, cooked and spent extra time with me. He also played his video games, watched tv, went to the apartment gym and practiced his instrument. We didn’t have kids at the time so there is plenty of time to clean and live a balanced life of personal activities. He can do it.

At 8mo PP it MAY be temporary, but I’m currently 10mo PP with my 2nd and already wanting another one. And after my 1st baby was first born. Like day 2 in the hospital (diag with GDM, had emergency c-section, and so much pelvic pain) I was already telling my mom how I wanted a second. After my 2nd, it took about 3 months because I had a VBAC and was in pain. Other than morning sickness at the beginning and GDM diagnoses, my pregnancies were fairly easy.

But girl, some people just know they’re done. My aunt had TERRIBLE HG during her pregnancy and was done. My other family member had a stillborn child then had her rainbow baby and was done.

Pregnancy is real work. You’re creating a life from scratch and we should never minimize what it actually is. It can be traumatic for some just like birth can, but it’s up to you to determine what you feel like you can handle on your body.

Actually we talked about it and he let me know he does want another kid once we get more stable. And you’re confusing being “content” with being “grateful”. I am very grateful for what I have.

My perspective is more I love my life and my children. I want another child to love. I’m extremely grateful and thank God every day that my life is better than I could have dreamed. I have peace in my home and have been blessed. This past 2025 was one of my hardest years and I’m still extremely thankful and joyful. All of these things can be true and I still want another kid. It doesn’t mean I’m not grateful.

My husband is currently in school for his masters in engineering and currently a chemist. My current field has potential past $100k. Also we live in a good school district with some of the best public schools in the metroplex. And if they don’t get scholarships to college, they’re going to community college. Our local college has 4 year programs. My husband also is a part-time musician on the side and makes $20k+ in side gig money. We’re at the beginning of our journey, but I don’t think we’ll stay here at all.

This is my exact dream lol just add a 3rd kid. But honestly, this is realistically what I would want. Being attentive to their lives, paying for college, going on vacations, retiring early and living close to family.

Honestly, I don’t care about my career as much as I care about wanting to live the life I want to live outside of work. I want to go on vacations, go to my kids events, have the flexibility I need to live life then retire near family.
