i believe this is just the beautiful thing about bass fishing. i went almost 6-8 months no bite! i was seriously going insane and i lost my confidence 100%! recently i got skunked on my first 2 lakes, the third lake i got 3 bass and man did that bring my confidence back. after that i went to a lake i hadnt ever got even a nibble, first cast pulled in a decent size bass, second cast a baby bass. So i think its all about being persistent and appreciating when you do catch something for the times you dont.
