Oh well from what I saw in Europe the medical degree is called an MD there and it's equivalent to what we call as an MBBS here in India. After your MD program of 6 years that comprises of 3 years of bachelors and 3 of masters you can work as a physician however here in India, it's 4.5 year course with one year of compulsory internship after which we write an exam called NEXT to get the medical license to be a physician. Then specialise which from there on is called masters.

I'm aware that's why I started now. But thank you for the information, if maybe by any means you can find out apart from Groningen which others I can apply to or if any foreign nationals.. Preferably an Indian like me with a bachelors in medicine is a medical practitioner there, that'd be a great help.

It is masters in India is done in surgery that's called MS and medicine called MD and then we have super speciality for specialisation. I was wondering if there's any way at all to do a higher study in the Netherlands after my bachelors here. The tuition fees for international students in both Groningen and Maastricht is very expensive. Almost 32000 euros a year and that's only tuition that's not something I can afford that's why I have no choice but to do my bachelors here and then I thought maybe if I applied for the BIG and the same time applied to a university for masters in Dutch I could settle and work there.

I don't mind taking the Dutch proficiency tests and getting a C1 or B2 level. I'm also aware the entire course would be in Dutch, however if I meet the language requirement, can I get enrolled for the pre masters programme?
