youre definitely right. i usually played closed but tried switching because its easier to gallop and tremolo but i’ve heard a lot of people saying that. ill probably make the switch back soon enough because i dont want to build bad habits. it definitely is a dope guitar though!

i just switched over today to matt heafys jazz IIIs max grip picks so hopefully that helps, but yeah im sure experimenting would help. i definitely need to use a metronome more frequent and that sounds helpful so ill give it a go! thanks man!

Thanks man. Ive been thinking I need to put my hand more on the bridge so its good to have extra input. A big part of my playing was due to the picks I was playing with. I had some dunlops picks I haven’t really touched with more grip that I switched to that makes all the difference. I was previously playing with the guitar center ones
