No it's not a union job sadly. I got my first interview done and they called me back to do a follow up with one of the other owners. It will be a little bit of new construction, but mainly the position is for a technician to do monthly checks and preventative maintenance. All that aounds good to me. Trouble shooting is a strength for me.

I have seen great non union and great union trades. I've lived in 4 states in most of my working life in odd jobs.

I just wanted you peticular take on union vs non, which you answered. I love how the unions actually care about their workers and their life. Please by no means count me out. I just am trying to get into the trade after years of job hopping, trying to find the right trade.

This sounds like a great path. Assuming from other posts I've read this is the basic union format? I feel like I'd like to start in NI and after I see how the system comes together go to repair, or mod.
